Sermon Questions:

  1. Jesus says the Holy Spirit will convict the world concerning sin. Sin makes God angry. What particular sins in your life have earned God’s anger and wrath?
  2. Jesus says the Holy Spirit will convict the world concerning righteousness. Why isn’t God angry at you for your sin? Where did all His anger and wrath go?
  3. The name of this 5th Sunday of Easter is Cantate – “sing”. What reason has God given you to sing? How is much of today’s “music” quite meaningless?
  4. When anger is directed at us or when anger is found inside of us, we can sing. How many hymns do you have memorized? What’s your favorite hymn? Can you sing it entirely by heart?
